MANAGEMENT

The Management team at BECN are:

ANNE PATERSON CEO
Bachelor of Business
Appointed General Manager
of BECN in 1995.
Anne has extensive experience in small to medium sized business, both self employment and at management level. In her role as CEO of BECN she is able to apply much of her experience gained as a small enterprise operator. Anne is able to plan, lead, manage and set strategic objectives for the organisation so that BECN is now one of the leading Business Enterprise Centres in NSW.

“I think I am fortunate that the work I do primarily satisfies my passion for making a difference; however, over the years I have also been involved with the community in a number of other ways. For example, I have participated in Rotary, been a judge in the Small Business Awards, am a member of the TAFE Council and am currently helping to raise funds for a local community group.”

Like many women in business, Anne often finds there are not enough hours in the day and “juggling work commitments, community involvement, and maintaining my own health and wellbeing can sometimes be a challenge. Nevertheless, I believe that ‘balance’ is important and I do make time for relaxation and exercise, which includes the gym, and playing golf.”
